I know, I know, I know...
I am such a drama queen when it comes to sewing!!!
{Too many exclamation points all the time!!!}
And I'm always claiming that this fabric...
My Aneela Hoey Box |
or that line...
or this pattern...
is one of my favorites EVER!!!
But I really really mean it this time!
Pillows are super fun to make!
I love that you can design them any way you like on the front.
You can go crazy with quilting details
and still get it done pretty fast.
Once it's all done, though,
there's still the back to be dealt with, right?
I've drawn up a free PDF tutorial
that you can use to create a stylish, attractive pillow back,
with a covered zipper!
Here's my sample version, ready for the holidays!
{There's that turquoise Ta Dots fabric again!}
Ta Dots by Michael Miller and Jingle by Ann Kelle for Robert Kaufman |
Now you can make a bunch of pillow covers
and remove them easily for cleaning or storage.
Want to see the front of this pillow?
Pretty soon there will be a big reveal,
but you have to be patient!
{If you had a crystal ball in good working order,
it would show you that a lot more pillows
will be featured on this blog in the coming year!}
I love your pillows! I just finished a couple myself! Guess what? My granddaughter was born last night! I'm on my way to San Antonio now! Yay!
