ReplyDeleteDo I have to tell you how many zippers I have? Really? I have shopped with Jennifer from Zipit since she opened her store! She does a wonderful job with her zips andnd I love her zipper pulls! They add so much to my purses! Okay, I will tell you that I have around 200 zips....every color under the sun but I always have a zipper(or two ) when I need them. If I have this many I have no idea how many you have....maybe around the same number as I do? Everyone should check out Zipit....it is a great store!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of regular zips and a huge big roll of a mad cut can come again zip. Its supposed to be cream but it is more the shade your underwear goes before you decide it needs chucked.
ReplyDeleteIt drives me bonkers as I had to go back to the shop to get staff to fit the zip pulls on it and the only time I used it the zip pull fell off. I'd love to win the prize and have real gorgeous colourful zips.

ReplyDeleteI have about 35 zippers, most of which were given to me and I've had for a while. I buy four or five in neutral colors to use when I think I'll be using zippers, but never have the length/color I really want, lol. You must have like 89 at least :)
ReplyDeleteYou know Amy when my kids were younger and they would say "Mom the zipper broke, and I would reply, Velcro or Button" and I tell you no lie......They learned to sew up there own jean zippers themselves....And I had 8 kids......

ReplyDeleteZip It has been my favorite place to get those beautiful zippers, too! I love having all of the different colors... and when she sends them, they are all tied up so lovely with a ribbon! I started saving the cut off sections, and stapling a note to them with the color name and number. that way I know which ones I used when I reorder! There are like 5 or 6 different pinks and then the purples... etc. I probably have 145 of them....

I don't have very many, about 8 at the moment. Recently I was looking for a bright pink zip in a shop here in Italy and I was told this colour does not exist, nobody makes it! I think I'm going to have to stock up at Zipit! No idea how many you might have... how about 222?!

I haven't needed to purchase zippers in a long time, so I have only a dozen or so old zippers. These new zippers look great! I do have a roll of zipper-by-the-yard to replace the zipper on a bathrobe.

ReplyDeleteWell, if I have 23 zippers in my stash (I think I need more - I seem to have used up all my neutrals), I'm guessing that you have either 3 (because you use your zippers) or 99 (because the zipit colours are all so lovely that you need to have at least one of every colour and a few spare!). The only zippers I have are ones I got from my mom when she quit sewing, probably about 12. I have checked out the Zipit site, but don't know which sizes I should get. Is there a tip on what size we should have in our stash? I think you have about 150.
